This year has been absolutely insane for many of Mississippi’s youth, their families and their communities. Students were snatched away from the love and care of their teachers this Spring for reasons that were out of our control. We’ve listened to many of these youth and have learned two things:

They miss their teachers tremendously.
They are ready to return to school!

And once again, Project Impact MS is excitedly on standby to make sure that they are indeed ready! But, we need your help to launch our 5th Annual Give Back with a Backpack (GBWB) project!

For the past five years, we have banded together with communities across the state to provide thousands of backpacks to Mississippi's most under-served youth. And this upcoming Fall, we feel that our youth will need us more than ever. While we don’t know what the upcoming school year will look like, we do know that the youth will still need backpacks with school supplies — whether they sit in a live classroom or a virtual one.

As we set out to raise funds to provide 3,000 backpacks in communities across Mississippi this summer, we invite you to collaborate with us to help equip our youth to learn from the first day back. Will you consider sponsoring one or more backpacks today? One backpack is $10. That's right, with only $10, you can make a strong impact! And, the fact that you can help alleviate some stress of the youth and their families — especially in these chaotic times — makes your gift even more meaningful.
