The Salute to Carpentry program, a key initiative of The Inspired Lumber Project, serves veterans by combining skill development with relationship building in a fully equipped woodshop. Veterans of all skill levels can learn woodworking under expert guidance, building confidence and abilities through project development and practice.

Beyond technical skills, the program provides a constructive outlet for emotions, helping to manage stress and anxiety. Participants have reported a renewed sense of purpose, community, and improved mental well-being.

We’re also excited to introduce the Salute to Carpentry 2.0 program enhancement in 2025, which will provide additional multi-week classes for graduates looking to increase their skills in a structured and managed environment.
