Hi friends!! I'll be running my first half-marathon (!!!) on November 20th in Philadelphia, and between now and then I'm hoping to raise $200 for each of the 13.1 miles I will run to support the nonprofit organization I lead, Guatemalan Educational Outreach (GEO)! If I can get 200 people to donate $13.10 each, that will get me to my goal, but no donation is too small! The money I raise from this race will go towards Colegio la Montañita//The Little Mountain School in rural Joya Honda, Guatemala, where I taught English for two years. The Covid-19 pandemic hit us hard, presenting lots of challenges including financial strain. Every dollar helps, as we gear up for our 5th year of educating starting this coming January.
