George Floyd Inspired - Grassroots Community Project

Save the Boards Minneapolis is a street art preservation project that started following the murder of George Floyd in 2020. Established in response to his murder, the project now provides storage for more than 700 plywood art murals & messages created in the Twin Cities.

Through the display of George Floyd inspired street art, STB continues to create opportunities for reflection and community healing, including local events, pop-ups, art exhibitions, presentations, and workshops.

The process of storing, transporting, and collecting boards during community events is expensive. The best way to support our preservation effort is to donate towards our storage/rental expenses.

With Love,

STB Team
