Give Hope for the Holidays 2025

When a family transitions from homelessness or crisis into a new home, they move into an empty space. They sleep on air mattresses and eat dinner on the floor.

Grateful Gatherings is the only nonprofit in the Bay Area dedicated to providing furniture and household items to all people in need. We believe that when people have a safe, stable, and comfortable home, they have hope, and they can thrive.

Currently, we have 50 families in need of assistance, and it continues to grow. With the cost of housing and everyday expenses on the rise, families need help now more than ever before.

There are almost 2 million neighbors in the Bay Area in need. That's over 30% of the Bay Area population. 

Please give today and help create safety, stability, and dignity for our neighbors.

• $50 stocks a family’s pantry with basics, so parents can make warm meals again.
• $100 provides bedding and warmth, so a child doesn’t have to sleep cold or on the floor.
• $200 furnishes a child’s bed—mattress, frame, and comforter—giving them their first safe place to rest.
• $500 sets up the essentials a family needs, the everyday items most of us take for granted.
• $1000 turns an empty room into a comfortable living space to create the grounding feeling of home.
