How Truman is building the future for our students

Truman College needs your help to provide scholarships to our students.

Our college celebrates originality, individuality and diversity. Our students come from 160 different countries speaking more than 90 different languages. The enrolled student population at Truman College is 41.5% Hispanic or Latino, 20.9% Black or African American, 18.4% White, 15.7% Asian, 1.64% Two or More Races, 0.134% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.0611% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders.

As you know, the cost of tuition, fees, necessary equipment, and school supplies can deter students from pursuing a higher education, especially those who are the most underprivileged. While many of our students are low-income, less than 30% of students are eligible for financial aid, meaning that they must pay for college out of pocket. Every donation, of any amount, helps our students realize their potential.

Your donation not only makes a difference in the lives of the recipients it also helps inspire other students that they have the power and support to go after their dreams. Scholarship recipients can apply their awards towards educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, equipment, and supplies.
