Did you know that 3.5 billion people worldwide suffer from oral health issues? Sadly, most of them live in middle-income countries, where cavities affect up to 90% of schoolchildren, and periodontal disease is widespread among adults. These aren’t just dental problems, they’re gateways to more serious health issues, including heart disease and diabetes.

Despite the urgency of the situation, millions of people still lack access to basic oral care due to economic challenges and limited healthcare options. In the U.S. alone, 85 million people are without oral health coverage and nearly half of adults over 35 struggle with periodontal disease. It’s a health crisis that we can’t ignore.
