Our Organization
The Great Lakes Region of the American Music Therapy Association (GLR-AMTA) is home to six states (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin), twenty-one colleges and universities offering a degree in music therapy, and thousands of individuals who receive music therapy services.
The purpose of our organization is to support the needs of music therapists across the GLR. We provide support starting during their college education and throughout their professional career.
Our vision states a music therapy culture that inspires ongoing growth of music therapists, their networks, and the profession.
Our mission is to create an inclusive, equitable, accessible, and informed community of diverse music therapy partners across the Great Lakes Region.
We appreciate your tax deductible donation.
General donations will be used to support our organization's operating costs which will help offset expenses including, but not limited to: our programming, bookkeeping, continuing education, website maintenance, office systems, and other general needs.
