As a proud alum of LPTS, I am honored to be one of the Champions for this fundraising campaign.
In 1999, I came to LPTS excited about the opportunity to complete doctoral studies, but I lacked the financial resources needed to enroll. It was through the giving of LPTS supporters that I received the Anderson and New Horizon Scholarships. Additionally, I received a fellowship/grant from the Louisville Institute to develop a Leadership Institute modeled after my dissertation research to prepare Young Adults for current and future leadership opportunities in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
While this appeared to be a pipe dream in 1999, in May 2002 I graduated and continued a path of Church Leadership and Academia armed with the tools and competencies that were developed in me as a LPTS student.
I am now calling on family and friends to help me continue the legacy of LPTS of preparing leaders by giving a contribution to this campaign.
Help us meet our goal of $10,000 by Thursday, April 27, 2023.
