Riley's arrival in our rescue in 2023 started her on a path to wellness. Suffering from severe allergies, barely surviving a snake bite, overweight and needing dual knee surgeries, Riley's arrival immediately captured her foster family’s heart with her loving personality and zest for life. Although she is unable to climb stairs or run like healthy dogs due to the torn muscles in her knees, she always has a wagging tail and a kind smile on her precious face.

The luck of the Irish hasn’t been with Riley though. Every time her surgery was scheduled a new complication arose. Finally clear and down to a healthy weight, Riley’s surgeries can be scheduled and we need your help to make this happen! A specialist will perform a TPLO, tibial plateau leveling osteotomy, on each knee.

She has a long road ahead of her and with your generous donations to help cover the life changing cost of her medical care, she will one day run and romp and rejoice!
