Green Swan Musical Theater is a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit theater company founded by two Queer moms seeking community and creative outlets in the East Bay Area.

The mission of Green Swan Musical Theater is to create accessible arts experiences, inspire creativity, and strengthen community bonds by offering affordable and inclusive theatrical productions. We aim to remove barriers to participation in the arts, particularly cost and lack of childcare. Our programs and services primarily benefit underserved communities in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.

Tax-deductible donations to GSMT support our programs and operations and empower us to build a sustainable and exciting future. Frequent costs include costumes, wigs & makeup, props & sets, licensing for specific shows, marketing & outreach, venue rentals, and, most importantly, paying our artists and staff! People are the power of GSMT, and we couldn't do what we do without our amazing cast, crew, and community!
