Help Repaint a School, Provide Scholarships, and Inspire Learning & Growth

Over 30 years ago, Headmaster O and his wife built this school to serve children in their community. The school has become more than just a place of learning—it surrounds their home, creating a nurturing, family-like environment for its students. Known affectionately as “Grandpa” to the children, Headmaster O has dedicated his life to ensuring the success and well-being of these students, even in the face of numerous challenges.

Recently, the school faced a setback when someone broke in and stole 12 computers essential for the student’s education and connectivity to the world beyond their own borders. While this was disheartening, it has strengthened their resolve to continue building a vibrant space for learning and growth that inspires hope and opportunity for every child. Now, we want to help the school community in some exciting ways.
 

Our goal is to raise at least 23,700 GHC (about $1,500) to:

• Repaint the school with long-lasting, high-quality paint to brighten and uplift the learning environment.

• Provide 8 full-year scholarships to ensure students can continue their education.

• Create a more vibrant and inspiring space where students can thrive.

This project is just the beginning. Peace First will continue partnering with this school as part of a new Changemaking Communities program, which will officially launch in 2025.
