Urgent Rent Help Needed for Ash Cat Rescue's New Shelter in Cairo

Ash Cat Rescue has been a beacon of hope for hundreds of cats in Cairo, saving them from the streets and giving them a chance at a better life. Ash works tirelessly, 24/7, to rescue, care for, and prepare these cats for new forever homes in the US, Canada, and the EU. Thanks to her dedication, many cats have found loving families abroad.

A New Shelter—and a New Challenge

To continue this lifesaving mission, Ash is now moving into a new, larger shelter that offers a safer, more stable environment for the cats in her care. The previous locations had become unsustainable due to ongoing disputes with landlords and limited space. The new space is a much-needed upgrade—but it comes with a higher cost: $1,200 in monthly rent.

This new shelter will allow Ash to consolidate the cats into one location, improve care conditions, and maintain a dedicated area for cats preparing to travel abroad for adoption.
