As we look back on 2025, it's been a challenging year for our refugee friends. They fled their home countries to escape persecution and began rebuilding their lives here, finding employment, learning a new language, and integrating into a foreign culture. Unfortunately, the road to rebuilding is long and hard, as they continue to face uncertainty and insecurity, feeling unsettled and afraid as they go about their daily lives.

We want to make a difference - to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we sit with our refugee friends to help bring them comfort and practical support, whether through women's groups, expressive art groups, empowering English classes, or community events that help them feel they belong. We are a bridge between the church and the refugees that God has brought to us, to show them the same love that Jesus has shown to us.

This Giving Tuesday through the end of 2025, you have the opportunity to double your donation to WARM to help change the lives of refugees we know and love! Three generous donors have come together with a grant to match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. [MATCH MET! Thank you!!]

Let's put our Hope into Action!

Your donation allows us to directly assist refugees with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, in partnership with other agencies serving refugees. We do this by serving as the bridge from the local church to our cities' refugees. WARM mobilizes and trains volunteers; equipping them with the tools, resources, and cultural sensitivity they need to make a difference in the lives of people.

We welcome and serve refugees from all over the world and your partnership gives us the resources we need to continue to meet refugees with openness and love. Jesus taught his followers that when they welcome a stranger, they are really welcoming Jesus himself, and our partners, our volunteers and donors, are doing that every day!

$50 - one volunteer trained and onboarded to welcome

$100 - one apartment setup for new arrivals

$150 - one Hope Group session for Afghan women

$500 - wrap-around care for a refugee family of 4 during their transition months
