Garnet Trust Foundation will help educate the general public in South Carolina and the communities in which the South Carolina student-athletes live about charitable organizations and causes, and how the public can get involved with these organizations and make a positive impact through these organizations.

In order to do so, Garnet Trust Foundation will cultivate relationships with charitableorganizations throughout South Carolina and in the communities in which South Carolina student-athletes live.

Garnet Trust Foundation will then seek to educate South Carolina student-athletes on charitable giving and service, to empower them to make positive impacts on communities and charities they are passionate about, and to help them use their influence to assist charitable organizations, both in the state of South Carolina and in the communities in which the South Carolina student-athletes live.

Student-athletes will then be paired with one of the identified charitable organizations and will have many options to support that organization, including making special appearances, participating in autograph signings, making social media promotions, hosting and attending camps and clinics, and participating in charity events that further the underlying charity’s mission and benefit the general public.

The specific activities that a particular South Carolina student-athlete will engage in will be determined in consultation with the benefiting charitable organization and the South Carolina student-athlete. In each instance, the South Carolina student-athletes will agree to complete a specific amount of work for the benefit of the underlying charitable organizations and to assist them in furtherance of their missions.

Furthermore, Garnet Trust Foundation will publicize these efforts, including through educational pieces, social media, and other communication platforms so that the public is aware of these charitable organizations and can learn about how to get involved or otherwise support these organizations.
