2024 Giving Tuesday
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Donate to PCHS this giving Tuesday to help us with equipment needs, care for animals, and support our many programs!
This Giving Tuesday, we are looking to raise $1500 to purchase our very own microscope (and microscope supplies) to use at the shelter. This will help us reduce our medical costs by allowing us to run in-house tests in which we can confur with our veterinarians. We will use it to look for ear mites, perform fecal floats, look at skin cultures for animals that have concerns of skin infections. We are also looking to replace our current printers. Both of our printers combined don't allow us to meet all of our day-to-day printing, scanning, and faxing needs. With our new shelter software, we are going to be replacing our printer to include scanning capabilities to keep our electronic medical records up to date. It will allow us to scan in previous records as well as any vet records that we receive for an animals. It will also allow us to print in color!
