In the poignant words of Dallas Penn’s widow and our beloved sister, Susan Penn, a.k.a. "Chocolate Snowflake": "Dallas has transcended to the celestial melodies that awaited him. From September 1970 to April 2024, his refrain echoed: 'it don’t stop, it won’t stop'. He awaits us all at the Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, and Sean Price Party in the sky. Rest, my love, until we meet again across lifetimes. I cherish you eternally."

In commemoration of Dallas Penn’s enduring legacy, The Bklyn Combine, in collaboration with Susan Penn, has established a distinguished scholarship for high school and college students dedicated to the art of storytelling through podcasting, photography, creative writing, and restorative justice. Our brother exemplified a commitment to nurturing young minds and championing fairness and equality, all while exhibiting impeccable fashion architecture from head to toe. This scholarship will help provide support to access the tools and resources necessary for success.
