In the heart of Bridgeport, a powerful movement for food justice continues to grow. This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to stand with Green Village Initiative (GVI) as we deepen the work of building a healthier, more connected community—rooted in fresh, locally grown food and youth leadership.

Every day at Reservoir Community Farm and the Reservoir Community Garden, we turn urban land into fresh produce, shared learning, and a welcoming space for residents. A single garden bed can bring families together; a season’s harvest can strengthen an entire neighborhood. Your support keeps this space alive and productive, helping us grow food, knowledge, leadership, and community all year long.

Your contribution also fuels our Youth Leadership Program—more than 2,000 hours of hands-on learning, teamwork, and growth for Bridgeport youth this year alone. When you give, you are investing directly in their skills, their confidence, and their futures.
