Winston Gaskin Community Walk for Health & Wellness

The 15th Annual Winston Gaskin Community Walk for Health & Wellness is set to begin at Kirk Park, 300 West Borden Ave. and proceed along a portion of the Onondaga Creekwalk on Syracuse's South Side. Participation in the walk is free and open to the public. Besides honoring Syracuse's first Black pharmacist, the walk is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness about the signs and symptoms of a variety of diseases and other health conditions that disproportionately affect the Black community. Same-Day Registration: 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Walk begins at 12 p.m. A brief program will follow upon completion of the walk.
