Mpunde Health Center Expansion

Since establishing Mpunde Health Center in 2018, Empower Through health has made remarkable progress. Through the unwavering commitment of our clinical team, ETH has touched over 30,000 lives to date. Our nurses, midwives, and clinical staff members allow ETH to offer affordable, world-class health services to those who otherwise would not have access. Before this clinic, rural villagers in our catchment area routinely faced many barriers, such as long travel distances, staff shortages, and frequent medicine stock-outs when trying to interface with Uganga's healthcare system. With your help, we have continued to work with local communities, government officials, and community health volunteers to fill this critical void, enabling our patients to receive treatments for malaria, malnutrition, and to safely deliver their children, along with many other vital services. 

**We would like to expand the health center’s capabilties by:**

-building an in-house lab to better diagnose medical conditions

-maternity space to ensure safe deliveries

-psychiatric space to treat Ugandans suffering from schizophrenia and other severely debilitating mental health illnesses

This expansion will take $10,000. I am confident that we will be able to meet this goal in a timely manner.
