Ghost wandered into our life when we moved to our new home in 2020. Since then he's been popping in and out, visiting our sanctuary and several other farms around the area, living his best feral life.

He quickly made friends with our resident barn cat Bell, and Binx and Bones shortly after we adopted them.

Early this Spring, Ghost showed up with a large wound on his leg. We were able to catch him and get him into the vet for treatment and also to get him neutered. When hos bloodwork came back, he was FIV+ which meant his immune system us compromised and he cannot go back to living a feral life.

Since then he's been living inside with us in our spare room, with toys, treats, comfy beds, and a nice view to his outside friends. We know he misses some things about outside but we do believe he's much happier indoors not having to fight to survive every day by hopping from place to place.
