Still STAND!ing
The weight of constantly breaking news cycles can be overwhelming, paralyzing even. As our daily life exposes us to repeated trauma, it is essential to take care of ourselves - so we can continue to take care of our community. Will you stand with us as we provide glimmers of hope to survivors of domestic violence this year?
STAND! has launched a new fundraising effort to help offset the uncertainty and delays for our key services. Our initiative is Still STAND!ing which is slated to raise $100,000 in the 100 days between October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month through Valentines Day, the heart of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in February, Still STAND!ing is a promise to our survivors that when they are ready to reach out, when they want a different future for themselves and their families, STAND! will be here, 24/7, 365, with help, support, resources, and a safe place to rest, heal, and rebuild their lives.
By contributing to STAND!, you are directly supporting critical safety, shelter, and wrap-around services for survivors escaping domestic violence alongside their children.
We’re still STAND!ing and will continue putting our mission and survivors first, knowing that the way forward is together, sharing resources, building community, and supporting our mutual goal of a safe, healthy community. We are thrilled to share that as of today, we are nearly halfway to our goal. Will you STAND! with us?
With gratitude,
