Writer/director/executive producer Sam Paige of Gilden Media productions has been bringing original content for years… and now she brings us the short film “Megan”. This film centers around our protagonist, Megan, a woman in the adult industry, as she navigates a day in her crazy world. A modern day story about finding love amidst the chaos of this insane world, “Megan” has as many heart-wrenching moments as times you’ll laugh your ass off.
Based off of the feature film, “You’re my Brother”, Sam was first inspired when she saw Pete Davidson talk about being diagnosed with BPD (Bi-polar personality disorder). Sam became very interested and started researching the disorder. Simultaneously, all of these life changing events started to take place… her adopted sister got her first phone call EVER from her birth dad, her mom has a twin and the thought dawned on her… “what if you had met your twin when you were 30 and it had BPD?” That set off a spark to writing the enticing feature film, to be produced in 2022 (with your help!!!).
The short “Megan” came to be because everyone fell in love with the character, Megan, who is one of the twins from the feature-and thus the prequel to “You’re My Brother” was born- the story of Megan before she meets her twin.
