Loving Paws

At Loving Paws, we love pets and want to ensure that every pet parent can care for their furry friends. 

Our Mission is simple. We provide safe and welcoming wrap-around services for EVERY pet to receive the care that they deserve.

We started Loving Paws, to help keep unhoused pets and their pet parents united by improving their quality of life through education, grooming, and providing them with the basic needs so they can thrive. 

We practice a trauma-informed, harm-reduction approach, utilizing the low-barrier model where we meet our clients where they are.   Our work spans all facets of the social service field, from access centers, interim housing, permanent supportive housing, Inside Safe programs, tiny homes, DV Programs, Veteran Programs, LGBTQ programs, etc.  

No person should have to give up their pet because they are unhoused, or they are going through some financial hardships.  Our pets are a part of our family.  Every pet deserves to look and feel its best, and we make it possible for pet parents to love their pet family by keeping them clean, healthy, and happy.

Several studies document the benefits of pets for the unhoused and elders.  Pets can provide comfort and protection as people navigate life on the streets or in shelters.  Elders depend on their pets to give solace and companionship, especially when they live alone, but pet care can be costly. 

Your donation will allow Loving Paws to provide 100 pets with grooming and other supports like educational training, bedding, leashes, collars, and food.
