Founded in 1971, Apple Hill utilizes the five skills of chamber music—watching, listening, being sensitive, flexible, and then adapting—to encourage students to grow, heal, and connect with each other in ways that transcend boundaries they may encounter back in their home communities. Through the performance and teaching of chamber music, we strive to cultivate connection and understanding among people of all backgrounds, ages, and playing levels. Since 1988, this radical inclusivity expanded into our signature Playing for Peace philosophy—bringing together students and faculty from all over the US and around the world to play chamber music at Apple Hill.

#GivingTuesday is a global movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Created in 2012, it has grown into a worldwide day of action that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate the causes they care about.

Your gift today supports scholarships for Apple Hill’s summer workshop and ensures every student is encouraged and supported equally. With the reality of rapidly increasing costs and the changing needs of our local and global communities, summer tuition and ticket sales only cover 40% of the actual cost to operate Apple Hill and maintain our 100-acre campus year-round. We rely on the generosity of community members like you to continue Apple Hill’s mission.
