Can you image a life where you could not express your thoughts and emotions? Where everything inside you was locked in a vault?
Every day throughout Michigan thousands of special education students struggle to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions due to cognitive impairments or physical disabilities. DONATE NOW to provide adaptive arts instruction for special education students that allow these children to express themselves without barriers. Moderate to severely disabled students in Michigan do not receive any arts instruction through their regular school curriculum, and MiAA currently only has the funding to reach about 10% of the special education population in the state. Your donation will allow our specially trained teaching artists to provide children the ability to communicate their thoughts and feeling through creative forms of expression.
