Imagine living in a waterfront city with a 6-lane elevated highway standing between most of its residents and the ocean. Noise, pollution, and traffic congestion plagued this city, which was Boston in the 80s and 90s. I'm fortunate enough to live and work in a city that is constantly ranked one of the best in the world for outdoor green space accessibility, clean harbors and rivers, and safety. Much of this is because of the hard work of the Greenway Conservancy.
Glow in the Park is a young professionals event hosted annually by the Greenway to raise awareness and funds for the many meaningful projects the conservancy works on.
I'm proud to have served on the planning committee for this event for the past four years and as the Co-chair for the past two years.
Please consider buying a ticket to the event on Friday the 6th or donating to this great organization.
