equal justice!

As you may know, civil legal aid has never been more important. Legal aid keeps

families housed, secures benefits for the unemployed, supports domestic violence

survivors, fights for the rights of immigrants, and much more.

The Legal Foundation of Washington raises funds for 40 civil legal aid programs

to advance equity and justice for families experiencing poverty. 

I went to law school and interned at Legal Services because I wanted to be a lawyer serving the economically disadvantaged.  Although that didn't work out for me, I have kept this area of law and the mission of the Legal Foundation of Washington close to my heart.
