GRAND HAVEN FREE FRIDAYS SUMMER CONCERT SERIES.

Music is a fundamental part of a community's culture. It connects people. Music unites us, bringing different cultures and beliefs to a common space, while promoting diversity and inclusion.

The Ric VanWeelden Music Fund intends to promote “music everywhere, for everyone” in this concert series while highlighting our Michigan-rooted talent.

It is the goal of the Ric VanWeelden Music Fund to bring the arts (music), small businesses, nonprofits, and the community together in this Free Friday Night concert series for our community and visitors.

Each of the 2024 concerts will have both a highlighted sponsor and a nonprofit. The funds raised will be dispersed between the nonprofits at the end of the series. We are also working with small businesses to maximize their exposure and bring traffic to them. This has been a successful format for the Walk The Beat music festival, and we are certain that the Grand Haven Free Friday Nights will be the same.
