Our daughter, Anna Elizabeth Hunter, was diagnosed with one of the most lethal and aggressive forms of pediatric brain cancer, DIPG / DMG, in December 2021.

Early in her diagnosis, Anna vowed to live each moment to its fullest and make each day as great as humanly possible. She fought bravely for 15 months before her passing in March 2023. Anna inspired and uplifted everyone she met, maintaining her optimism and bravery until the very end.

To honor Anna's legacy, her family and friends have established the Great Day Foundation. The Great Day Foundation exists to find greatness in each day and inspire hope, joy, and unity to families facing life-threatening childhood cancers.
