Kalamoo's FIRST Tech team, Great Dismal Robotics, is where 8 motivated teens (grades 6-12) transform from curious learners into confident problem-solvers. Guided by five dedicated mentors specializing in coding and robotic engineering, plus several other mentors who help periodically, these students tackle real-world challenges while gaining hands-on experience with robot design, programming, and mechanical engineering.

This isn't just about building robots—it's about building futures. Our Great Dismal Robotics students develop critical thinking skills, teamwork, and technical expertise that will serve them throughout their lives, whether they pursue careers in STEM fields or apply these problem-solving abilities elsewhere.

Your support makes this possible. Each season requires $2,000-$4,000 to cover registration fees, competition costs, and essential materials. Every dollar helps a Suffolk student discover their potential and develop skills our community needs.
