Gifts from Greenwood families fill the gap between school needs and SPS funding, providing the resources needed to sustain and improve our students’ educational experience.

When you give to Greenwood PTA, here are a few of the resources you provide:

Math and reading interventionalists who work 1:1 or in small groups with students.
More than $40K in supplies and software subscriptions so school funds can be directed to staffing and priority needs. PTA funds provide new books for the library, art materials, gym equipment, and classroom learning materials.
A Student Care Coordinator position and funds to support Greenwood families.
A STEAM lab, including curriculum, materials, and teacher Ms. Teegan’s time.
The instrumental music program for fifth grade, including teacher Ms. Tasha’s time.
Dance instruction along with the all-school dance, including teacher Mr. Chris’s time.
Buses to make field trips possible.
Community-building events (Back to School Coffee, Back to School BBQ, Bike to School, Planet Greenwood Potluck, Movie Night, Field Day).
Academic enrichment events and programs (Science Fair, Math Night, Spelling Bee, incentives for the Global Reading Challenge, and the Greenwood Garden).
