You may attend the class even if you don’t own a car that needs an oil change.

I am voluntarily participating in an oil change training class, where I will perform an oil change on my own vehicle under the guidance of instructors.

Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that working on a vehicle involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or mechanical failure. I accept full responsibility for any risks associated with participating in this class.
Vehicle Condition: I understand that I am responsible for the condition of my vehicle. I acknowledge that pre-existing issues—such as a stripped or cross-threaded oil drain plug, damaged oil pan, or other mechanical defects—may affect the outcome of the oil change. I will not hold the instructors, organizers, or facility liable for any damage resulting from such conditions.
No Warranty or Guarantee: I understand that this class is for educational purposes only. No warranty or guarantee is provided regarding the outcome of the oil change or the condition of my vehicle after the service.
Release of Liability: I hereby release and hold harmless the instructors, organizers, volunteers, and facility from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation in this class, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or vehicle malfunction.
Responsibility for Repairs: I understand that I am solely responsible for any repairs or costs resulting from the oil change, whether due to pre-existing conditions or actions taken during the class.
