Jars of Change, Canning Together Healing Forever-- Will be a program for senior and differently-abled women in Northeast Florida who want to learn how to become more self-sufficient through food preservation and canning. This program will teach students how food preservation and canning can improve their bilateral coordination skills, hand-strengthening skills, hand-eye coordination, and memory retention i.e. occupational therapy. This program aims to improve students' overall well-being while teaching them safe pressure and water bath canning techniques they can implement at home after successful program completion.
