Ms. Mercedes McClain established LN IN HEAVEN FOUNDATION in Houston on 2024 to commemorate her daughters, Nevaeh Maria Scott and Leilani Royal Armstrong, who passed away in 2012 and 2015. The nonprofit focuses on community support, youth development, veteran services, and aid for those in need. As a way to heal, Ms. McClain is involved with a growing network of Texas nonprofits dedicated to making a positive impact on her community.

To help others navigate negatively impacting life experiences, Ms. McClain initiated a mission to provide education, activities, events, and financial literacy classes within her community. McClain goals is to open her own facility in the upcoming future for youth and adults.

Youth Empowerment:

Programs that promote leadership skills, self-esteem, and personal development among youth.
Providing mentorship opportunities to guide young people in their personal and professional journeys.
