Help MDC put our Education Opportunity Center on the road!
For several decades, Tacoma residents looking for education resources have found help at MDC on Fawcett Avenue in downtown Tacoma.

Our staff compassionately assists motivated individuals with:

attaining a GED
educational planning
career advising and exploration
assistance with financial aid forms and college applications
student loan default advocacy

But we realize getting to Tacoma can be a huge barrier for other Pierce County Residents.
That's why MDC is renovating an RV to better serve all of Pierce County by providing access to technology and education support services.

The total cost of the RV renovation is upwards of $75,000.
MDC can cover about half of the cost with our current budget, and is actively applying for private grants. But we need your help to get across the finish line.

The completed renovation will include:

TV
projector
bulletin board
sound system
wireless mic system
wi-fi internet access
electrical outlets for 10 different work stations for students
2 printers
laptop charging station
1 desk for two people
secure storage for devices
