Hormone Access Project

Hormone Access Project (HAP) implements a variety of methods to materially secure estrogen and testosterone for our LGBTQ+ community in Western Massachusetts and protect our community against recurring pharmacy hormone shortages, including supporting low-income trans people in getting hormones from family owned, alternative pharmacies that produce their own supply. We are starting small and building steadily. Your donation will help pay for these prescriptions and potentially for their transportation, as well as related supplies  and other forms of emotional and physical care to cope with the effects of hormone shortages.

This project was started by Alla and Hunter. Alla created the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network; organizes intensively in additional migrant justice, harm reduction, and other abolitionist projects; and is a survivor of longterm medical establishment abuse. Hunter is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with transgender and gender diverse individuals to facilitate a process of identity-building based in empowerment and authenticity.
