Hidden Acres depends solely on the generous donations of our local community and corporate sponsors.  Without the support of our community we would not be able to do the life saving work we do not only for our Off-Track-Thoroughbreds but also for the people that come to Hidden Acres looking to better their lives.

We pride ourselves on two things: our work to save horses and our deep roots in the community. People from across the county come to Hidden Acres to help care for the horses, build their confidence, learn leadership skills, participate in our events and activities, and find a sense of purpose and belonging.  Our barn has become a second home to many families, teens, veterans, and retirees.  Every day, we get to watch our volunteers stepping into leadership roles, our HART veterans and retirees finding a sense of purpose again, and our HART families unplugging and bonding over shared experiences and interests.  Seeing our HART humans grow and find their place is just as rewarding as seeing our HART horses recover and find their new forever families.
