South Florida HBCU Picnic - 9th Annual
Dear HBCU Leaders,
Since 2015, the South Florida HBCU Picnic has pursued two primary goals: strengthening our alumni associations and raising scholarship funds to send students from South Florida to HBCUs nationwide. Your leadership has been instrumental in achieving this mission.
Our annual picnic is designed as a powerful showcase of the collective strength of HBCU alumni, providing a unique space to recruit and engage alumni to advance your alumni association’s initiatives. Today, it stands proudly as the largest gathering of Black professionals and the premier recruitment initiative for our alumni groups in South Florida.
Why Sponsor?
-
Unparalleled Exposure: The largest gathering of Black professionals in South Florida, drawing over 5,000 attendees and alumni from 77 of the 107 HBCUs.
-
High-Value Engagement: Connect directly with HBCU graduates, influential business leaders, and decision-makers across industries.
-
Brand Alignment: Demonstrate your institution’s commitment to educational excellence and meaningful community investment.
-
Meaningful Impact: Directly support scholarships and community programs benefiting students attending HBCUs.
To continue expanding our impact without losing sight of our original mission, we need your support. We respectfully request that each alumni association contribute the minimum sponsorship amount or secure sponsorships to cover your participation costs. Detailed benefits of your sponsorship are outlined in the following pages.
Together, let's uphold our legacy and empower future HBCU students.
With appreciation,
Matthew A. Pigatt
