On September 6th the students of Heartland Christian School will be going out into our community to serve with a variety of organizations. Each student is taking this opportunity to seek sponsors that are willing to support them on this day. Students are trying to fill up as many Pick-a-Day fundraising calendars as possible. These funds will be used to opportunities for our students. Thank you for considering donating to our school. Please feel free to choose as many dates as you would like as we fill up our calendars.

Heartland was founded in the Fall of 1983 when several families from the First Baptist Church of Belton developed some concerns with the teaching and methods of the local public school. The school’s founder, Pastor David Baker, felt called by God to open a school that would provide an environment of learning based on Biblical truth that would develop a generation of citizens with a strong Christian worldview that could impact change in our community and world. In 1985, we were blessed with the ability to build a new educational building with a full-size gymnasium that would allow for the development of our athletics department. Then in 2021, our pastor and founder passed away suddenly, and six months later God provided again and brought our new superintendent, Danny McCubbin to the school. Over the last 40 years, Heartland has seen its fair share of triumphs and struggles. We have learned from mistakes made and made improvements to our instruction models, and under the leadership of Danny McCubbin, we are continuing to make changes that will allow our organization to have lasting impacts for the Kingdom.
