Fall 2026 Travel Program
October 15th - 18th, 2026
Houston Design Collaborative has curated an itinerary to deliver a one-of-a-kind destination experience. Come join us in one the US’s most beautiful and booming cultural and culinary scenes.
Spaces are limited. To secure your spot, sign up here and provide a refundable deposit of $1500 + cc gift processing (suggested 3%).
This deposit is fully refundable if the trip is canceled by HDC or if the registrant cancels before April 1st, 2026. Total cost and any additional fees is estimated at $3,000 for double occupancy and includes hotel stays for 3 nights, local transportation, meals (with exceptions) and program entry fees. Individuals are responsible for travel insurance, transportation to/from Northwest Arkansas and one (1) dinner. Final payments will be due on or before August 1st, 2026.

Tour Highlights:
Walmart’s New Home Office Campus. A 350-acre site for 15,000 employees, featuring 12 hybrid mass timber office buildings, extensive green spaces, walking/biking trails, and public amenities. Tour led by Gensler Design Principal Raffael Scasserra.
Crystal Bridges Museum of Art. Tour includes the latest museum expansion designed by Moshe Safdie (adding 114,000 SF of exhibit space), set to open in June 2026.
Alice Walton School of Medicine. Reshaping medical education with a focus on whole health and making meaningful change in the community. Designed by Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects.
Heartland Whole Health Institute. A non-profit founded by Alice Walton focused on transforming healthcare through a “whole health” approach that integrates physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Tour led by Architect Marlon Blackwell.
University of Arkansas. Tour to be led by the Dean of the College of Architecture Peter MacKeith and will highlight recently completed buildings on the campus including the Anthony Timberlands Center, designed by Grafton Architects
The Ramble. A 50-acre, two-part urban park and cultural arts corridor in downtown Fayetteville.
Dillmeier Glass Company. One of the most revered glass manufacturing facilities in the world and a 4th generation family-owned business, recognized for industry achievements, custom fabrications and specialized solutions. David Dillmeier will host our group.
