Every fall, Southwest Preparatory School’s 3rd–6th graders from all four campuses (Seguin, Southeast, Northwest, and Northeast) come together for a once-in-a-lifetime outdoor adventure at H-E-B Outdoor School.
This year, about 100 students will hike, kayak, fish, and take on high-ropes challenges while learning teamwork, leadership, and environmental awareness alongside trained H-E-B Outdoor School leaders and our own dedicated teachers.
For many students, it’s their first time away from home, under the stars, discovering new confidence and friendships that cross campus lines.
H-E-B provides the camp itself at no cost to our students — but our district must cover the food, transportation, and supplies needed to make the trip possible. Rising costs have pushed the price of meals to nearly $20 per camper per day, and staff often pay for extra supplies and activities out of pocket.
Your donation helps ensure no student misses this unforgettable experience.
