Hungarian Folklife Association | Microgrants Fund
Dear Friends and Supporters,
The Hungarian Folklife Association (HFA) often receives requests for micro-funding - small amounts ($50 - $500) to help offset costs for hiring teachers, musicians, performers and spaces for folklife events/programs. We also support our hallmark Folklife Ambassadors Program which deploys experts to much needed areas. HFA wants to be in a position to continue strengthening these underserved communities - where folklife may be absent but very much desired. We join others in the global folklife movement to supplement (where we can) local cultural programming.
Please note: In the United States, The Hungarian Folklife Association qualifies as a tax exempt (IRS 501 c3) organization. Charitable contributions to this organization are therefore tax-deductible. In addition, most employers matching donated funds. We also invite other types of gifts - in-kind, legacy and more. The full guide is here.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. Every bit matters.
