10 Years of Spreading Hope From Coast to Coast

Introducing the 10th annual Hope From Coast to Coast 2026 presented by the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG)!

In 2016, Hope From Coast to Coast (HFC2C) was established by DMAIG to provide Penn State Alumni with an ongoing opportunity to support the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON). Since then, alumni have collectively run over 6,800 miles and donated over $140,000 to THON through HFC2C. This year marks a continuation of our commitment to making a lasting impact.

Get Involved Throughout the Year

HFC2C Campaign Overview:

HFC2C is now more than just a single event—it's a year-long initiative leading up to THON and beyond. Participants can engage through our THON Weekend fitness meetups and the 46-Day virtual fitness challenge, or support THON anytime while working toward personal goals!

HFC2C Group Meet-up:

Join alumni and supporters for a 4K For Four Diamonds Fun Run in State College during THON weekend!

This is an informal group run/walk and is a no-drop event (we won’t leave you behind)
Connect in-person with other alumni who share a passion for fitness and a love of THON

Participation in State College activities is open to all—please complete this form to receive more details. There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to fundraise a minimum of $135.

The 46 Day Challenge:

From January 5, 2026, join participants worldwide in the 46-Day Challenge
Define your own daily fitness goals and share your progress on social media to inspire others
Tag @DMAIG on Instagram or Facebook with your updates to be part of the community effort

Participate in a Race or Event and Fundraise for HFC2C:

Have you already signed up for a race or event and want to support THON while training? Create a page in GiveButter to fundraise for HFC2C!
