Honor Flight Southern Nevada Support Opportunities

As a community-funded organization, everything we do is made possible by people like you. To make giving easy and meaningful, we've created several support categories so you can choose the level that fits you best to support the brave men and women who served our country..

Every donation—large or small—directly advances our mission and helps create real, lasting impact.  Your donation directly helps us honor Veterans with the recognition, experiences, and support they deserve.

Join us today. Give with gratitude.

About  Us:
Honor Flight Southern Nevada
is a distinct and independent Honor Flight hub and a proud member of the Honor Flight Network. Our service area includes Mesquite, Pahrump, Laughlin, and nearby regions in Arizona and Utah, where we are the closest Honor Flight hub. We have been a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 2013.

Our first flight took place on October 11–13, 2013, when we had the honor of taking over 35 WWII Veterans to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. As of July 2025, we have served 683 Veterans from the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War eras. These trips have been profoundly impactful, leaving lasting impressions on the Veterans, their Guardians, and their families.

We currently conduct two trips per year—one in the spring and one in the fall—based on our fundraising capabilities.

Each flight is a three-day journey to Washington, D.C., where Veterans visit six memorials, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, and the Bill of Rights and Constitution at the National Archives. Each trip includes several special elements to honor our Veterans: a police escort throughout the day, a Saturday night banquet, a wreath-laying ceremony, and a heartfelt “Mail Call” on the return flight. Veterans are recognized throughout the weekend for their service and sacrifice.

Approximately six weeks after each flight, we host a Flight Reunion Luncheon, where Veterans receive a photo album commemorating the trip. We also partner with Quilts of Valor to present each Veteran with a handmade quilt in recognition of their service.

What we provide for each Veteran:
Travel bag, polo shirts, lanyard, raincoat, HFSN hat, and other items of recognition

If needed: wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen concentrators and first aid supplies.

All Veterans are paired with a Guardian, that covers their own fees, and we take two (2) paramedics and two (2) staff members on each flight.

Please Note: When making your donation, the payment is defaulted for a credit card processing fee (3%) and "tip" (15%) for the donation processing platform.  We are unable to turn these off, but you are able to change them during your donation payment.  If you chose not to pay the credit card processing fee, you will need to selected the "Edit" link located after the processing fee on the "Summary" screen.  We are very thankful if you do choose to cover the "processing fee", as that pays for the credit card fees we have to pay.

Our new donation platform is currently free, but to keep it free we have to add the "Tip" option. If you choose to keep the "Tip" selected, we are also thankful, as that helps us not have to pay fees to the platform developer.  If you chose not to "tip" the platform, you can click on the tip percentage, and select "other", and you can enter a "custom" tip of zero.
