At Kulima Montessori, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to see themselves as a changemaker—someone whose voice matters in shaping a better future. In February 2026, our Upper Elementary and Upper School students have the chance to participate in the Model Montessori United Nations (MMUN) Conference in New York City, where young delegates from around the world come together to research, debate, and propose solutions to pressing global issues.

This is more than a trip—it’s a transformational experience. Our students will:

Represent countries from across the globe, learning diplomacy, public speaking, and collaboration.
Deepen their understanding of international relations, justice, and equity.
Build confidence as they stand behind a delegate’s microphone in the very halls of the United Nations.

For many of our students, this will be their first journey to New York, their first time stepping into an international arena, and their first opportunity to see themselves as leaders on a global stage.

But we can’t do it without you. Your generosity will help cover the costs of travel, lodging, conference registration, and delegate preparation so that every Kulima Montessori student who earns their place can attend.
