Join us for our 8th Annual "Thanksgiving in the Park" on Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving morning) at 11am in Lueders Park in Compton.

We'll pack hot meals AND toiletry bags for our unhoused neighbors, here in Compton, as well as enjoying each other's company. We hope to serve 250 neighbors.

Volunteers are welcome! Donations are gladly accepted.
For $25, you can donate 1 meal to feed an unhoused neighbor.

Please complete THIS quick registration form for each person volunteering to let us know if you plan on serving at the park and what items you will bring. Set up begins at 11am. We should be done by 1pm. If you registered to bring a donated food item, please bring it to the park at 11am fully prepared. If you are unable to prepare your item, please let Sara know!

Here's what we need:

· 9 Frozen Turkeys (16-20 lbs each)

· Mashed Potatoes (7 big pans)

· Gravy (4 big pans)

· Green Beans (10 big pans or 80 cans)

· Stuffing (8 big pans)

· Corn (9 big pans or 72 cans)

· Cranberry Sauce (5 big pans or 60 cans)

· ✅ DONATED!Hawaiian Rolls (250)

· ✅ DONATED! Pumpkin Pies (15 large Costco Pies)

· Cool Whip (15 tubs)

· ✅ DONATED! Water (8 cases)

· To-Go Containers (250 large for dinner, 250 small for dessert)

· ✅ DONATED! 250 Pre-Packaged Plasticware & Napkins

· 250 plastic shopping bags (like this)

· ✅ DONATED! 4 boxes of Plastic Gloves

· 250 backpacks/bags for toiletry items
