Athletics
Altruism

Your generous donation will support the following areas of focus for the 2024-25 School Year:

Professional Development:
AHS strives to be a learning community where adults work together in purposeful ways.  We didn't enter the profession to work with adults, but here we are.  Professional relationships are strengthened through efficient and strategic collaboration.
Thomas Van Soelen, our resident professional developer, is holding a 1.5 day learning experience about specific skills which can help improve adult interactions - in any arena of your life.  These sessions are being offered to staff members throughout the course of the fall semester as part of our internal professional development plan for the school year.

Campus Improvement:
In the spirit of #OneAlpharetta, the AHS Foundation supports our School Governance council through campus improvements.  Seeking the feedback of students, faculty, and community stakeholders, the AHS Foundation supports large scale projects annually.  For the 2024-2025 school year, we are seeking support in building industrial sun shades on our cafeteria patio.

Scholarship:
Scholarship opportunities are provided annually to senior graduates in support of their academic endeavors after high school.  Additionally, the AHS foundation seeks to supports student scholarship by supporting the needs of our high school students while participating in our high school programs.

Mini Grant:
In the spirit of #OneAlpharetta, the AHS Foundation supports our PTSA through supplemental faculty mini-grant supports.  Annually, our faculty submit proposals for resources and equipment that supplement student learning.

Student Support:
The AHS foundation offers faculty initiated student supports through strategic programs offering academic, social-emotional, and culture and climate initiatives.  Additionally, this program seeks to supports families in times of crisis and need.
