The HMA/HMLA-269 Gunrunners Alumni Association has organized a special committee to explore options for establishing a commemorative marker to honor the 51 years of service of the squadron and to appropriately honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice either in training, during contingency operations, or in combat while assigned to 269.

There are still many concepts and questions to be explored by the committee such as location, design, funding requirements, timeline and other details but we are confident that the campaign will result in an appropriate tribute to our long legacy and many contributions.
