In Person

Add to Calendar 2024-04-13 11:30:00 America/Los_Angeles HMOC & VTS Fundraising Spring Bling Tea Party 2024 You are cordially invited to join us and enjoy a traditional Victorian Tea at the Heritage Museum of Orange County featuring a historic plaza, home to several buildings from the 1890s set amid extensive floral gardens and citrus groves. The catered tea will feature a Sparkling beverage, scrumptious Scones, an assortment of Sweet and Savory delicacies, and a selection of fine Teas. Shine in your best "bling" to win prizes, and expand your collection by partaking in a Silent Auction of very desirable jewelry made possible by a generous donation from a long time supporter of the Tea Society and HMOC! Upwards of 50 pieces of the donor’s personal costume jewelry collection can be yours so come prepared to bid and feel good expanding your collection knowing that all proceeds benefit the children’s programs at HMOC! There will be a wide variety of items from bracelets to brooches, necklace sets (with matching pierced earrings), vintage clip earrings and custom necklaces made with removable brooches. Items made by the donor will be specifically identified and unique features of each piece will be described on the bidding sheet. Some pieces were purchased over the years at the annual Art of Adornment event at the Bowers Museum. Here's to hoping that you will find a unique piece to add to your own collection while helping raise funds for the Heritage Museum of Orange County! Gates open at 10:45 am for the tea seating which starts at 11:30 am, please arrive promptly to review the silent auction and begin your bidding before the tea! Please note the following: • This is a pre-ticketed event; no tickets will be sold at the door • There are no refunds; this is a fundraiser for the museum so please pass along your ticket to a friend if you are unable to attend • Event is recommended for 10 and up in age • We apologize but we cannot provide food allergy or dietary restriction accommodations.
